Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) offers numerous Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs—including career academies at the secondary level and certificates/diplomas at the postsecondary level through Broward Technical Colleges (BTC) leading to industry certifications. Admission requirements may differ between secondary and postsecondary programs. The secondary CTE programs by school and program can be found here. Lack of English proficiency will not impede admission or participation. BCPS may use placement tests and counseling to assess a student’s potential for success and will provide appropriate services or referrals as needed.
